Thomas Arthur2024-08-29This is a review now six years later. After many years of use, and one repair, it was time to replace the drive motor of our Club Car Cart. Went to this fine dealership, and both a technician and Wendy, Co owner took some time to walk me though motor options. They ordered in an original Club Car motor with no down payment. The motor was installed within the week for the exact price I was quoted. This business is as honest as any we have experienced. It helps to talk to either Wendy or Gordon the owners. They will remember you, give you personal service, and are wonderful community members. Can't say enough about this operation. The following is an older review. ***This review will be a bit longer, as we have had several wonderful interactions with this company. We purchased a home here in SCC and an older golf cart came with the home. Our first need was when one battery went bad, I went to four golf cart dealers asking to purchase a used battery to match the age of the batteries in the cart. This is the only business that would sell me a used battery. I was treated very rudely at the largest dealer by a "I am in charge male" and will never return to that dealership. Then two years ago, the cart really could use new tires, but it is only used say 10 times a year, it is older, and I did not want to put new tires on it. So I called, and Wendy said there were several sets of used tires, "to come on up and look," and a great almost new looking set of tires, with like new rims, were installed at half price. While the cart was getting tires, I was taken to the back and listened to one of the front tire bearings growling, it needed replacement, and it was done quickly at what I thought was a very reasonable charge, as the cart was already in the shop, jacked up, with the tire off. This season it was finally time for new batteries. I called five local dealers here in town, and this dealership quoted a much lower price for the six - eight volt name brand batteries compared to the other dealerships, and fully $150.00 below the large dealership where I was treated rudely as outlined above. Installation, pick up and delivery included in the low price. I asked the cart be looked over for other problems, and two issues were discovered. At two different times, Wendy called explaining the problems. On the first occasion I did not fully understand so I went to the dealership, and Gordan spent some time explaining why new bushings were needed in the suspension system. He also took time to help me understand other areas I should be watchful for an older cart. Because of their inspection, a faulty Potentiometer was found, and replacing the faulty part has added about 5 MPH more top speed. My thought for any person reading this review, is this dealership really cares for it's customers, and more of the dealerships in the area should hire management with the touch of a female that Wendy brings to this business. It is spotless clean run by honest people. I would give it ten stars if I could. Tom Arthur
tom Sheppard2024-08-16GORDON AND WENDY ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE TO MEET WHEN PROBLEMS ARISE WITH THE OLD CART OR MAYBE EVEN THINKING OF TRADING UP. PURCHASED A DENAGO FOR UNDER $ 8,000 IN JUNE OF 2024 AND THIS TOTALLY CHANGED OUR LIFE AS LIVING IN SUN CITY CENTER. IT'S NOT ONLY THE GREAT LOOK OF THE DENAGO BUT THE COMFORT OF THE RIDE AND THE DRIVE ABILITY IS AWESOME.
